"Freedom is not free" - That is a fact that must never be forgotten. Kenny is a HERO and is so very missed by his family and friends. He has left us with the knowledge that "One person can make a difference". We want to honor that. So with that in the deepest part of our hearts, it is time for his fourth annual charity golf event.
This event raises funds for the Kenny Schall Memorial Scholarship Fund. Kenny was studying to become a High School History teacher, so this is our way of honoring him and helping the students that he so wanted to teach.
This event promises to be one of the highlights of the year for all who attend. Participants will enjoy a relaxing round of golf, dinner, raffle prizes and the chance to bid on amazing items. There will also be an opportunity to meet the 2009 scholarship recipient from Centennial High School.
Kenny was born and raised in Peoria, Arizona He was an avid golfer. He attended Centennial High School and Glendale Community College, where he played on the golf teams. He is an American Hero who felt a sense of duty after 9/11 to protect his family, friends and his country and joined the U.S. Army. At the age of 22, Kenny gave his life for those he loved when he was killed in Iraq on May 22, 2005.
